Job description

Horizontal Process Design Consultant - Enterprise Transaction Services - Transformation, Initiatives, and Process Office, This job is responsible for analyzing processes, documenting business case opportunities, and implementing process improvement/transformation initiatives in support of Operational Excellence objectives. Key responsibilities include supporting the execution of change initiatives which may result in cost efficiencies, quality, productivity, and risk mitigation. Job expectations include working with business leaders and subject matter experts, ensuring collaboration and transparency across integrated business and technology teams, and driving execution of solutions within the budget and timeline.

Line of Business Job Descripton:

Responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes that support Transformation objectives. Partners with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify improvement opportunities, develop business cases, and implement sustainable solutions that drive efficiency, productivity, quality, and risk reduction.

Responsibilities:

  • Implements low to moderately complex solutions to address issues and risks, optimize efficiency, reduce variability, and improve controls, quality, and sustainability
  • Works directly with Line of Business partners to gather information needed to identify and implement solutions that resolve critical business challenges and opportunities
  • Establishes a model for continuous process improvement by applying process engineering best practices and delivering reusable technology solutions
  • Leverages analytics and critical thinking to solve complex business problems and translate issues into structured design oriented solutions with clearly defined business case benefits

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant work experience with business and technology projects including process improvement/re-engineering and technology change efforts
  • Experience in process design, business process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), and process improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project execution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes/actions and own product documentation
  • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office products such as Copilot, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and in Visio
  • Strong decision making skills with an assertive and proactive communication style
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills
  • Must be proficient in data management to include strong data analytic capability
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, determined and positive - especially under pressure
  • Critical thinker and risk minded

Desired Qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting and participating in technology change efforts
  • Proficient in understanding technology and data management
  • 5+ years of project management experience with a complete understanding of the key principles and frameworks of Project Management and Process Development
