Job description

We are looking for a strong Java Backend Developer with hands-on experience building scalable backend applications, REST APIs, and microservices. Current market requirements for these locations commonly emphasize Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, SQL, cloud, and containerization., o Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. o Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. o Develop event-driven applications using Kafka. o Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and optimize queries. o Deploy applications using cloud and container technologies. o Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support. o Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams.

Requirements

Must Have Skills: o Strong experience with Spring Boot & Spring Framework o Hands-on experience developing Microservices o Strong REST API / Web Services development o Excellent SQL and relational database experience o Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms o Experience with AWS/Azure cloud o Docker and Kubernetes o CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/GitHub Actions o Git, Maven/Gradle o JUnit/Mockito and unit testing o Strong understanding of OOP, multithreading, data structures, and design patterns o Experience with production support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Good to Have: o NoSQL - MongoDB/DynamoDB o Spring Security, OAuth2/JWT o API Gateway o Terraform o Financial/BFSI domain experience o Agile/Scrum experience
