Job description

About the Test Engineer role: Our customer is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to support validation, verification, and troubleshooting activities for automotive electronic systems and components. This role will be responsible for developing test plans, executing hardware and software validation, analyzing test results, and supporting issue resolution throughout the product development lifecycle. Testing & Validation Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning: Develop, maintain, and execute validation plans, test procedures, and test cases based on customer requirements and engineering specifications
  • Hardware Validation: Perform functional, electrical, environmental, and durability testing of automotive electronic modules and systems
  • System Verification: Validate system behavior and performance against design requirements and customer expectations
  • Test Reporting: Document test execution results, create validation reports, and communicate findings

Engineering & Issue Resolution:

  • Troubleshooting: Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective action implementation
  • Issue Tracking: Manage and document defects using internal issue tracking systems
  • Network Analysis: Analyze and validate CAN and LIN communication using industry-standard tools

Requirements

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm, mostly 9:00am-5:00pm (occasional weekend work required based on project needs), * Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field

  • Experience with automotive electronics testing and validation
  • Hands-on CAN and LIN experience
  • Proficiency with CANoe, CANalyzer, and vFlash
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, micrometers, and power supplies
