Job description

We are looking for a Java Selenium SDET / QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications., * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium

Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks
Execute UI, API, integration, and regression testing
Validate backend data using SQL
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams
Participate in sprint planning, test planning, execution, and defect triage
Continuously improve test automation coverage and framework reliability

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation / SDET
Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and OOP concepts
Excellent experience with Selenium WebDriver
Experience developing automation frameworks using TestNG and/or JUnit
Strong experience with API testing using REST Assured or similar tools
Good knowledge of SQL and database testing
Experience with Cucumber / BDD
Hands-on experience with Maven/Gradle
Experience with Git and Jenkins / CI-CD pipelines
Strong understanding of Page Object Model and automation design patterns
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Financial services / banking / capital markets experience
Experience with large enterprise applications
Experience working with distributed teams
Knowledge of performance testing or cloud-based testing environments
