Full Stack Software Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Platform Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java/Python, Google Cloud Platform, cloud data platforms, microservices, and full-stack development. This role will design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable data platform services and applications., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and microservices supporting real-time and batch processing on Google Cloud Platform.

• Build cloud-native solutions using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and related Google Cloud Platform services.
• Develop scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot and/or Python.
• Design and implement SOA and microservices architectures.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs across platform services.
• Work with Apache Beam and Kafka for data processing, ingestion, and streaming.
• Contribute to full-stack solutions using Angular, JavaScript, Node.js, and backend technologies.
• Design and integrate data access and visualization layers for enterprise data platforms.
• Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases, and BigQuery.
• Implement data governance, access controls, RBAC, encryption, and data masking.
• Optimize application and data-pipeline performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop unit and functional tests and maintain strong application quality and test coverage.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment and operational processes.
• Use GitHub for source control, code reviews, defect resolution, and collaboration.
• Utilize Terraform/IaC and automation frameworks to improve reliability and reduce manual processes.
• Independently participate in the complete SDLC, from feature design through production release.
• Collaborate with architects, software engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to establish platform standards and best practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, testing, troubleshooting, and delivery speed.

The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering fundamentals, experience building cloud-based data pipelines and microservices, and the ability to work across backend, data, and frontend technologies. Experience using AI tools to accelerate software development and coding productivity is highly desirable.

• Strong hands-on software development experience with Java and/or Python.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform cloud development.
• Experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
• Experience designing and developing microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of SOA and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Apache Beam and Kafka.
• Full-stack development experience with Angular/JavaScript and/or Node.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, and/or BigQuery.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of cloud security, data governance, RBAC, encryption, and data masking.
• Strong testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software engineering best practices.
