Requirements
- Strong commercial embedded firmware experience
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Experience with Python
- STM32, ARM Cortex-M or comparable microcontroller experience
- Strong understanding of electronics and hardware integration
- Experience with embedded communication protocols
- Board-level debugging and low-level driver development
- Firmware testing and release-validation experience
- Previous technical leadership, mentoring or project ownership
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable Experience
- MQTT or LoRaWAN
- AWS IoT Core or another cloud-connected IoT platform
- FreeRTOS or another RTOS
- Low-power and battery-operated products
- OTA firmware updates
- Sensor-data processing and binary payloads
- BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee or cellular connectivity
- CI/CD and static-analysis tools
- Experience within rail, energy, industrial monitoring or smart metering
This opportunity would suit either an established Firmware Lead or a strong Senior Embedded Engineer ready to take the next step. You’ll join a close-knit engineering team, take ownership of commercially deployed products and help shape the next generation of the company’s technology.
