NET Developer

You will be closely involved in the design, development, and optimisation of all software that supports and expands our operations. From architectural design to deployment, you play an active role throughout the process. Working alongside our product specialists, you create smart solutions that make a tangible difference.

Within the IT team, you will contribute by:

• Building complex computational applications that strengthen our core processes
• Safeguarding and maintaining a scalable, future-proof architecture
• Writing and maintaining technical specifications
• Sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues
• Enhancing internal data processing tools for greater efficiency

You have a strong drive to contribute to our mission of making financial products transparent and comparable, helping clients, and ultimately consumers, make better financial decisions. Other qualities include:

• The flexibility to take ownership within a small, informal, and largely self-managing team
• The ability to translate internal client needs into accessible, user-friendly, and innovative software solutions

More specifically:

• A higher professional education (HBO) level
• Several years of relevant experience as a .NET developer using Visual Studio (C#, JavaScript) and SQL Server
• A preference for spending part of the week in the office (Amsterdam or Assen) to collaborate and fully understand MoneyView
• Fluency in Dutch, as this is our working language

Since 2025, we have operated as an independent division of Topicus Finance, an IT company specialised in Vertical Market Software. This enables us to benefit from the expertise and facilities of our parent company, such as the Topicus University. Alongside our own compact IT team (5-6 developers), we collaborate with hundreds of IT colleagues to share insights and expertise. You can now also join both MoneyView and Topicus events. Different employment conditions apply within each organisation, which we are happy to explain.

At MoneyView, we have been dedicated since 1993 to making financial retail products fully transparent and comparable. Our enthusiastic and skilled team works hard every day to fulfil this mission and provide our clients with exceptional service. Our real-time monitoring system keeps clients constantly informed of the latest product developments in the financial sector.

To achieve this, we have developed an entire ecosystem of interconnected applications based on .NET and SQL Server. These applications are used by both our team and our clients. Your direct “clients” are primarily colleagues who rely on your solutions to work more efficiently or require new functionality to better serve external customers. Importantly, we do not develop software on commission. Our software is generic, but we always aim to translate client needs into functionality that benefits all users.
