Senior Infrastructure & Virtualization Expert

Vvelaoras Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure & Virtualization Expert to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure and virtualization environments. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional with deep expertise in virtualization technologies, server infrastructure, storage systems, networking, and cloud integration.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, scalability, security, and performance of our infrastructure while supporting business growth and technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise virtualization platforms.
• Maintain and optimize server, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Lead infrastructure modernization and capacity planning initiatives.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and virtualization issues.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Implement infrastructure security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership teams on strategic technology projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior infrastructure engineers and provide technical leadership.

Do you have experience in vSphere?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong expertise with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage technologies and backup solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and performance tuning.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Industry certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent.
• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies.
