Job description
- Build scalable REST APIs with FastAPI and occasionally WebSockets
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and SQLAlchemy models
- Develop and integrate React/TypeScript frontends
- Implement authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0/JWT and RBAC
- Write unit, integration, and contract tests with pytest
- Improve performance, reliability, logging, monitoring, and observability
- Deploy and maintain services on AWS
- Work closely with Product, QA, Data Engineering, and DevOps
Requirements
We are seeking a Python Engineer specialized in FastAPI who is also comfortable building and integrating React frontends. You will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend APIs, ensure seamless frontend integrations, and collaborate across Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver customer-ready features end-to-end., * 3+ years of professional Python development
- Production experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Strong PostgreSQL skills
- Practical React + TypeScript experience
- Testing, type safety, and CI/CD experience
- Understanding of OAuth/JWT, RBAC, security, and compliance/PII, * AWS and Docker/IaC experience
- Redis, Celery/RQ, and WebSockets
- B2B data products, analytics, or report-generation systems
- Experience designing domain-oriented APIs
