Job description

  • Maintain and develop both the public website and back office.
  • Diagnose issues across the interface, server routes, database and connected services.
  • Improve property pages, search, image handling, admin screens and mobile usability.
  • Maintain sign-in, user permissions, email notifications and calendar imports/exports.
  • Deploy safely, keep test and live environments separate, and handle database changes, backups and rollback.
  • Keep dependencies, documentation and access settings up to date.
  • Agree priorities with the team, explain trade-offs clearly and ship focused, tested changes., * Database and files: PostgreSQL on Supabase, Prisma, Supabase Storage and Realtime.
  • Hosting and delivery: Cloudflare Workers through OpenNext, Wrangler, GitHub, GitHub Actions and Bun.
  • Connected services: Clerk for login, Resend for email, Mapbox for maps/address lookup, and iCal feeds for availability.

Both applications now run on Cloudflare Workers. Vercel remains relevant to domain management and the former hosting setup.

Useful Experience

  • Cloudflare Workers/OpenNext, Supabase, Prisma or Clerk.
  • Calendar synchronization, booking or property-management workflows, including timezones, duplicate events and failed imports.
  • Email delivery, maps, image performance, caching and technical SEO.

Requirements

Level: Experienced mid-level to senior, typically 3-5 years or more in full-stack development, or equivalent practical experience. You should have independently maintained and deployed a live application; demonstrated ownership matters more than an exact number of years.

Working arrangement: Remote, with regular overlap with the team in France., * Next.js, React and TypeScript: practical production experience, including App Router, server/client components and server routes.

  • PostgreSQL and database-backed features: comfortable with SQL, relational data, migrations and an ORM such as Prisma.
  • Authentication and permissions: able to protect server-side access and handle webhooks, secrets and different user roles safely.
  • Deployment and maintenance: hands-on experience with cloud/serverless hosting, environment settings, logs, scheduled jobs and rollback.
  • Frontend quality: responsive layouts, Tailwind CSS, accessibility and attention to existing design details.
  • Independent problem-solving: able to trace a problem through an unfamiliar codebase, explain its cause and verify the fix.
  • Git and testing: clear pull requests, automated checks and practical browser testing before release.

Evidence of maintaining an existing live product matters more than knowing every service listed below.
