VP, Global Data Centre Delivery

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Global Data Centre Delivery to lead our worldwide data center operations and infrastructure initiatives. This strategic role involves overseeing the planning, design, deployment, and management of data centers across multiple regions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our global IT infrastructure and support our organization’s growth ambitions., * Lead the end-to-end delivery of global data center projects, including design, construction, and commissioning, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards such as NIST.

• Oversee the management of data center operations, including server management, virtualization (vSphere), system administration, and network infrastructure to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Develop and implement strategies for cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure, integrating them seamlessly with on-premises systems like Oracle, SQL Server, and ERP systems.
• Ensure robust network security measures are in place by managing firewalls, VPNs, DNS configurations, WAN/MPLS connections, and implementing best practices aligned with NIST standards.
• Drive innovation through application development using technologies like.NET, Java, Python, Node.js, Angular, React, PHP, HTML/CSS while maintaining compliance with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish system design specifications for machine learning applications, AI initiatives, and data warehouses utilizing MongoDB, Oracle databases, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware procurement (SAN storage), software licenses (Microsoft Office tools), and cloud services to optimize costs and performance.
• Lead a team of IT professionals by fostering leadership skills through coaching on project management methodologies such as DevOps practices and analysis skills for system optimization.

• Extensive experience in managing global data center operations with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms including AWS and Azure; familiarity with cloud security protocols is essential.
• Deep understanding of information security principles-firewall management, VPNs, network security standards-and compliance frameworks like NIST.
• Proficiency in application development languages such as C#, JavaScript (Angular/React), Python, PHP; experience with system design for enterprise applications is highly desirable.
• Solid knowledge of virtualization technologies including vSphere; experience with server management and system administration across Linux and Windows environments.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing multidisciplinary teams; excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly across all levels of the organization.
• Strong project management skills with experience overseeing SDLC processes; ability to negotiate vendor contracts effectively.
• Familiarity with networking concepts such as DNS configuration, VoIP systems, LAN/WAN architecture; experience implementing disaster recovery plans is a plus.
