Job description

  • Act as the end-to-end Technical Application Manager, aligning systems with business goals, IT strategy, and compliance standards.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements, including interfaces, data flows, and dependencies with surrounding systems.
  • Design, document, and maintain application interfaces (e.g. file-based, API, REST, SCIM).
  • Translate business needs into clear, technically sound requirements for IAM, integration, and application teams.
  • Collaborate with IAM teams on user provisioning, role/access concepts, authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SAML/OIDC).
  • Review, adjust, and validate configuration or data files for system uploads and integrations.
  • Oversee application lifecycle activities such as onboarding, changes, upgrades, and decommissioning.
  • Coordinate incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement with vendors and IT teams.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and audit requirements.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for applications and interfaces.

Requirements

Do you have experience in XML?, * 5+ years of experience as a Technical Application Manager or similar role in an enterprise IT environment.

  • Strong technical affinity with hands-on experience in SaaS applications, integrations, and cloud-based systems.
  • Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts (user lifecycle, provisioning, SSO, roles, authentication).
  • Experience with interfaces, APIs, file-based integrations, and basic data formats (e.g. CSV, XML, JSON).
  • Ability to analyze technical issues independently and collaborate effectively with IAM, integration, and infrastructure teams.
  • Familiarity with IT service management and governance frameworks (e.g. ITIL).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, bridging business and technical audiences.
  • Experience in IT HR landscapes is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
