Network Cabling & CCTV Engineer

• Installing structured Cat6/Cat6a cabling runs (routing through loft voids, under floorboards, or via discreet external SWA/conduit where required).
• Mounting Ubiquiti UniFi access points, wall/floor data cabinets, patch panels, PoE switches, and 4K IP CCTV cameras.
• RJ45 & keystone terminations, cable labeling, patch panel dressing, and continuity/PoE testing.
• Ensuring non-invasive, aesthetic routing that respects high-end period homes and modern extensions.
• Basic network adoption and connectivity verification via the UniFi app/controller.

We handle all client acquisition, hardware procurement, and project scoping. We need experienced, meticulous field engineers to execute clean, professional physical installations on a project-by-project basis., * Proven experience in structured data cabling (Cat6/Cat6a), Wi-Fi deployment, or IP CCTV installation.

• Active ECS Datacomms Card or CSCS Card preferred.
• Public Liability Insurance (Minimum £1M-£2M cover).
• Own reliable, unbranded van, ladders, SDS drills, cable pulling tools, and basic testing gear (continuity/wiremap tester).
• High standard of neatness (tidy cable containment, hidden runs, clean workspace cleanup)., * Do you hold active Public Liability Insurance with at least £1M cover?
• Do you have your own unbranded van, ladders, and professional cabling/termination tools?
• Do you hold a valid ECS Datacomms Card, CSCS Card, or equivalent UK trade certification?
• Have you installed and terminated Cat6/Cat6a data runs and Ubiquiti UniFi hardware before?
• What postcode area are you based in, and are you available for freelance/subcontract work across South Buckinghamshire?
