Head of AI & Bio-Data Science

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of AI & Bio-Data Science to lead our multidisciplinary team of AI engineers, data scientists, and bioinformatics specialists. This leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s AI strategy, overseeing advanced analytics initiatives, and driving innovation in biological data modeling and interpretation., * Define and execute the company’s AI and bio-data science roadmap.

• Lead and mentor teams of AI researchers, data scientists, and bioinformatics professionals.
• Develop machine learning and deep learning solutions for biological and healthcare datasets.
• Oversee data strategy, governance, and quality standards across research projects.
• Collaborate with scientific, technical, and executive stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and implement best practices.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Present technical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and external partners.

Do you have experience in Machine learning?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or bioinformatics.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical and research teams.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks, statistical modeling, and large-scale data analysis.
• Experience working with biological, genomic, healthcare, or life sciences datasets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus., * Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
• Published research in AI, machine learning, or computational biology.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and MLOps practices.
