A Frontend Engineer at Gaming1 maximizes customer and business value through high-quality, user-centric product experiences.

Engineers operate within small, autonomous product engineering teams in a high-traffic, regulated environment, where decisions directly impact customer trust, conversion, time-to-market and long-term engagement.

While frontend engineering is the primary expertise, Gaming1 teams are intentionally small and product-oriented. As a result, Engineers are expected to be wide in their skillset, flexible in scope, and comfortable collaborating across disciplines. Frontend work is not always a neatly isolated responsibility - success comes from team ownership and shared accountability, not role silos.

This role is part of a broader Product Engineering culture focused on autonomy, short feedback loops, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

YOUR ROLE

As a Frontend Engineer, your mission is to design, build, and evolve solutions that solve real customer problems and support business outcomes.

You do this by:

• owning solutions across their lifecycle - from problem understanding and implementation to release, monitoring, and iterative improvement

• collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver meaningful outcomes

• Product-oriented mindset with a focus on customer and business value
• Experience building scalable, maintainable and high-performance web applications
• Solid knowledge of Redux Toolkit, RTK Query and asynchronous data flows
• Strong engineering practices: testing, code quality, CI/CD and code reviews
• Comfortable working in cross-functional product teams alongside Product Managers and Designers
• High level of ownership, autonomy and problem-solving ability
• Passion for continuous learning, AI-assisted development and engineering excellence
• Nice-to-have: React Native, micro-frontends and frontend security knowledge
