As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an exceptional Technical Training & Installer Engagement Manager to help us develop installer capability, strengthen customer relationships and support the successful adoption of our products nationwide.

The Opportunity
This is far more than a traditional training role.
You’ll become a trusted technical expert and industry ambassador, working closely with installers, wholesalers, customers, sales teams and product specialists to drive engagement, education and product adoption.
You’ll play a vital role in shaping installer experiences, gathering market feedback and influencing future product development whilst helping position Sync Energy as the partner of choice within the electrical and renewable energy sectors.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging installer, customer and internal training programmes.
- Develop and maintain high-quality training resources, guides and technical documentation.
- Create and present video training content, webinars and digital learning materials.
- Deliver CPD presentations and technical workshops to installers, contractors and wholesalers.
- Support new product launches with technical training and engagement activity.
- Accompany commercial teams on customer visits, providing technical expertise and product demonstrations.
- Build strong relationships with installers and industry partners across the UK.
- Gather installer feedback and customer insights to support continuous improvement and product development.
- Provide occasional on-site support for complex installations or technical challenges.
- Represent Sync Energy at exhibitions, trade events and industry engagement activities.
A Typical Week Might Include
· Delivering an EV charging training session to a group of electrical contractors
· Filming product training content for a new product launch
· Presenting a CPD session to a national wholesaler
· Supporting a key customer meeting with technical expertise
· Visiting installers to gather feedback on product performance
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge within electrical, EV charging, energy storage or related technologies.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with installers, contractors and customers.
- Experience delivering training, demonstrations or technical presentations.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- A passion for helping customers and installers succeed.
