Job description
We are hiring a Lab & Field Hardware Technician to support hands-on hardware, network, storage, and lab infrastructure activities. The role involves equipment installation, troubleshooting, cabling, inventory management, shipping, and basic server/lab support., * Perform hardware installs, replacements, NIC swaps, cabling, and switch wiring.
- Support storage replacements, disk swaps, and spare parts handling.
- Troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN, server, and lab infrastructure issues.
- Support ESX, Hyper-V, Windows Server, and lab environments.
- Manage equipment shipping, RMAs, inventory tracking, and asset records.
- Follow runbooks, document work, and escalate complex issues.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience with hardware, servers, cabling, or infrastructure support.
- Basic networking and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to handle rack equipment, labeling, and inventory tasks.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Nice to have: experience with containers, CI/CD, or storage networks.
