Digital Construction Manager (4D Planning)

Read this bit first: this is not desk-based scheduling. You are running a live room.

We coordinate construction sequencing in 4D - real logistics, tied to a real programme, in front of the people who build it. Ten to twenty engineers in a room, sometimes the client’s, sometimes ours, working the plan together.

The job

Lead the coordination of 4D planning across a construction programme. Run the collaboration sessions, in the client office and in-house, where engineers work through sequencing, logistics and site access together. Own the process end to end: pull the right people in, keep the room moving, turn what comes out of it into the plan.

What you need

Genuine love of the process, above everything else - you want to be in the room, not just producing the output of it. Deep into construction logistics: site access, plant, sequencing, the physical reality of a live build. Comfortable running a session with ten to twenty engineers and holding the thread. You live in the tools, not around them, and pick up new planning software fast. Digital fluency essential. Some planning technology under your belt is a plus (APHEX, P6, Asta or similar), but the passion for the process matters far more than which one.

What you do not need

To be the most senior engineer in the room. We want someone who can run the process and get the best construction thinking out of everyone in it, not someone who has to have all the answers themselves.

Hybrid - real time in client rooms across the week, not just video calls. Small company, no layers.
