Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Azure leader to take ownership of our Cloud & AI Platforms Practice team and to shape the future of Microsoft’s cloud technologies across our partner ecosystem.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure with strong commercial awareness and proven leadership capability. You’ll be responsible for leading a team of Cloud & AI specialists, driving growth across our Azure portfolio, influencing go-to-market strategy, and becoming a recognised voice both internally and externally within the Microsoft channel.

If you’re currently working as a Cloud Solution Architect, Azure Practice Lead, Presales Manager, Technical Consultant Leader, or a similar Azure-focused role and are ready to take the next step into a high-impact leadership position, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead, develop and inspire a team of Cloud & AI specialists and presales professionals.
  • Own the Azure practice, bringing together technical expertise and commercial strategy into a single high-performing function.
  • Drive adoption and growth across Azure services within our partner community.
  • Work closely with Microsoft and key strategic partners to maximise opportunities and strengthen relationships.
  • Shape and execute go-to-market plans alongside Product, Sales, Marketing and Alliance teams.
  • Support complex opportunities by providing technical guidance, solution direction and commercial insight.
  • Build business cases, estimates and growth plans for Azure opportunities.
  • Represent Giacom at customer, partner and industry events as a subject matter expert.
  • Monitor performance against key growth, pipeline and revenue objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong demonstrable experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Azure.
  • Deep understanding of Azure architecture, governance and best practices.
  • Experience across Azure core services including compute, networking, storage, identity and security.
  • Knowledge of Azure AI, Data & Analytics, Modern Infrastructure and cloud-native services.
  • Commercial acumen, including Azure consumption models, profitability and growth planning.
  • Experience leading, coaching or developing technical and/or commercial teams.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, Microsoft representatives and partner organisations.
  • A passion for technology combined with the charisma to influence and inspire others.
  • Microsoft certifications such as AZ-700 or AZ-800.

Benefits & conditions

  • Investment in your future career with a variety of learning and development opportunities.
  • No dress code - embrace the freedom to bring your whole self to work.
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. You’ll even get your birthday off, too!
  • A pension plan for your future.
  • Complimentary refreshments in all our offices.
