Job description

• Test Development & Execution: Define and execute manual and automated test cases for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) to verify they meet technical specifications.
• Failure Analysis & Troubleshooting: Use data mining, system log analysis, and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers) to diagnose and resolve hardware and software failures.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, C++.
• Compliance & Safety: Conduct environmental, durability, and high-voltage safety tests to ensure products meet regulatory standards like UL, SAE J1772, CCS1 and NACS.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to suggest design improvements based on test results.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Experience: 2-5+ years of experience in electrical testing, ideally within the power electronics or automotive industry.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of AC/DC charging, CAN-bus communication, and high-voltage battery management systems (BMS), TCP/IP networking
• Hands-on Skills: Proficiency in using laboratory test equipment and handling high-voltage systems safely.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
• Language: Bilingual (Chinese and English).
