Job description

Talent Link Recruitment is recruiting for a Web Developer to join a growing business and work across the development and improvement of its web platforms.

This would suit a developer with hands-on Laravel/PHP experience who is comfortable working across both back-end and front-end development and enjoys being part of a smaller team where they can have a real impact.

What You’ll Be Working On

Building and improving web applications using Laravel
Developing responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Maintaining and updating existing websites and applications
Working with WordPress
Troubleshooting bugs and resolving technical issues
Working with MySQL databases
Using Git for version control
Testing websites across different browsers and devices
Supporting the rollout of new features and functionality

Requirements

You should have practical experience with:

Laravel / PHP
HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
WordPress
MySQL
Git
Responsive web development using tools such as Bootstrap or Tailwind

Experience with React, Vue.js, REST APIs, NPM, Linux or SEO would be useful but isn’t essential.

You’ll also need good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the confidence to work independently as well as alongside other team members., * How many years of hands-on experience do you have developing web applications using Laravel/PHP?

Which of these have you used professionally: Laravel, WordPress, JavaScript, MySQL and Git?
Can you briefly describe one website or web application you’ve built or maintained using Laravel? What was your involvement?

Experience:

Web Developer: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)

Benefits & conditions

£25,000-£35,000 per year, depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
