Technical Field Engineer - Nurse Call Systems

We are seeking an experienced and technically minded Field Engineer to install, commission, service, maintain and fault-find nurse call and healthcare communication systems across hospitals, care homes and other healthcare environments in Northampton and the surrounding area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring systems are installed and maintained to a high standard, providing reliable and safe operation for patients, residents and healthcare staff.

This is a customer-facing role involving regular travel to client sites, with occasional overnight stays where required., * Install, maintain, configure and commission nurse call systems and associated equipment.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Diagnose and repair faults on nurse call, emergency call and associated communication systems.
• Test system functionality and ensure equipment operates in accordance with manufacturer and project requirements.
• Configure system hardware, software, displays, controllers, call points and peripheral devices.

• Nurse call systems or healthcare communication systems.
• Low-voltage electrical or electronic systems.
• Structured cabling and network infrastructure.
• IP-based communication systems.
• System commissioning and fault diagnosis.
• Basic networking knowledge, including IP addresses, switches and network connectivity.

Experience with nurse call manufacturers and systems would be advantageous but full training can be provided to the right candidate.
