Job description

We’re looking for a skilled BI Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team supporting a large-scale enterprise platform built on Salesforce and AWS. You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive real decisions. This role is a full-time position. Our core stakeholders are located in Seattle, WA.

What You’ll Do

You’ll own the full lifecycle of data analysis and reporting - from source integration to executive dashboards. Day-to-day, this means:

  • Pulling together data from across the organization to fuel analytics and reporting

  • Building and maintaining efficient, scalable data models and table structures

  • Partnering with product, operations, and business teams to surface gaps and opportunities

  • Establishing KPIs and metrics that teams actually use

  • Creating dashboards and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Running ad hoc analyses when the business needs fast answers

  • Communicating findings clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

  • Healthcare domain knowledge and experience

  • Solid SQL skills - you’re comfortable writing and optimizing complex queries

  • Working knowledge of Python and/or VBA for automation or analysis

  • Hands-on experience with a major BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)

  • Advanced Excel proficiency

  • Experience with relational databases and analytics or reporting platforms

  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts: dimensional modeling, ETL, etc.

  • Able to work through large, messy datasets and explain what they mean to non-analysts

  • Strong communicator - written and verbal - who can simplify technical topics

  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast-changing environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift)

  • Background in large-scale ETL or enterprise analytics environments

  • Familiarity with R, SAS, or MATLAB

  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Data Analytics Specialty, etc.)

  • Strong grasp of data visualization principles, * Data visualization: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Healthcare: 2 years (Preferred)

Benefits & conditions

This is a high-visibility role on a mature, long-running client engagement. You’ll work with modern cloud infrastructure, large-scale data, and a team that has deep system and domain expertise. Your work will directly shape how the business operates and makes decisions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year, * 401(k)

  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
