Senior Software Engineer - BaaS

We’re seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to lead the development and enhancement of our Banking-as-a-Service platform. Based in Los Angeles, CA, this is an exciting opportunity to shape scalable, secure, and high-performance financial solutions that expand the capabilities of our partner ecosystem.

In this role, you’ll design and build APIs and microservices supporting partner onboarding and platform integration, collaborating closely with product managers and fellow engineers. Your expertise will drive the development of innovative, reliable systems, fostering engineering excellence through code reviews, best practices, and mentoring. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring system observability, security, and compliance, enabling seamless and compliant embedded financial services.

• 5+ years in software engineering, including at least 1 year in a technical leadership capacity
• Proven experience developing secure, standards-compliant code across multiple platforms
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL, and cloud platforms like Azure (APIM, SQL, Cosmos DB, Key Vault)
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth2, and OpenAPI specs
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and microservices
• Familiar with observability tools such as Datadog and Grafana
• Knowledge of Git, DevOps, Agile Scrum, and security standards (PCI DSS, SOC 2)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Fintech or embedded finance platform experience
• Partner onboarding workflows and SLA management familiarity
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications

Preferred Education and Experience:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is ideal
• Extensive experience working in fast-paced, mission-critical environments

• Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA, and reside within the specified location
• Ability to operate in the U.S. without sponsorship
