Job description
As Hardware Systems Engineer, you will lead the technical delivery of complex systems projects and product developments. You will own key project documentation, specifications, technical files and risk registers, while working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Operations and Service teams. You will also provide technical support through manufacture, installation, acceptance testing and issue resolution.
Requirements
Quantum Design Oxford is seeking a Hardware Systems Engineer to take technical ownership of complex order fulfilment and new product development projects, from order receipt through to customer acceptance. This is a hands-on, technically influential role for an experienced engineer who enjoys leading system-level design, coordinating cross-functional engineering activity, and turning customer and market requirements into robust, compliant, manufacturable products., You will bring a degree qualification in a relevant science or engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience, alongside experience of product development within a high-tech engineering environment. Experience in cryogenics, electrical sub-assemblies, electronics or compliance would be advantageous, although full training will be provided for the right candidate., You will be a structured problem solver with strong communication skills, technical curiosity and a collaborative approach. You will be comfortable making decisions, influencing others, adapting to change and taking ownership of your own work.
