Job description
As a Web Designer, you will work across a variety of client projects, bringing ideas and briefs into polished, practical websites.
- Design responsive websites for desktop, tablet and mobile
- Create page layouts, landing pages and visual elements that suit each client’s brand
- Turn client briefs into clear and engaging website designs
- Make updates and refinements based on client feedback
- Maintain consistency across typography, imagery, layouts and branding
- Work with colleagues to keep projects on track and meet agreed deadlines
- Review finished pages for visual quality, usability and accuracy
- Gradually take greater ownership of selected client projects, If you are looking for a Web Designer role where your work will be seen, your ideas will be taken seriously and there is room to grow into greater ownership, we would like to hear from you.
Requirements
- A strong portfolio demonstrating professional web design work
- Solid understanding of responsive design, layout, typography and visual hierarchy
- Confident use of design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- A good eye for detail and consistency across digital work
- Ability to interpret client requirements and turn them into effective design solutions
- Clear communication and confidence working with clients and colleagues
- Strong organisation skills when managing multiple projects and deadlines
