Working with a group of other Engineers to design, build, and deploy cutting-edge AI-powered solutions that drive business value across the organisation.The Senior Engineer is responsible for delivering a roadmap of improvements, focusing on the full lifecycle of AI applications, from initial prototyping to production-grade deployments.These are some of the key ingredients to the role:Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions

focusing on AI-enabled applications and infrastructure.Lead and participate in technical projects and deployments of AI systems.Provide guidance and mentoring to other team members on best practices in AI engineering.Use best practices (e.g., MLOps, AIOps) to improve products/services and processes related to AI.Optimise existing model serving and data pipelines to meet changing performance and security requirements.Hold requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and data science teams.Lead functional projects or work streams focused on AI infrastructure and tooling.What will you bring to the table?Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, Fargate, DynamoDB/RDS) or GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, BigQuery).Strong experience in Python and fluency in another language.Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Serverless Framework).Enjoy automating processes.Knowledge of containers (Docker, Container Orchestration like Kubernetes/ECS/GKE).A genuine interest in and at least foundational experience with AI/ML concepts and technologies, demonstrating an eagerness to grow into a specialised AI Engineering role.Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and driving forward best practices in software engineering.Stays up to date with new technology in the AI space.Nice to have:Direct experience with advanced AI tools and platforms, such as Amazon Bedrock or Google Vertex AI.Familiarity with frameworks for building complex, multi-step generative AI applications, like LangGraph.Experience with Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication or coordination patterns in AI systems.Hands-on experience leveraging AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot or similar platforms (e.g., Kiro, Cursor) to enhance productivity and code generation.Knowledge of or experience with MCP to integrate LLMs with external data sources and toolsAt JET, this is on the menu:Our teams forge connections internally and work with some of the best-known brands on the planet, giving us truly international impact in a dynamic environment.Fun, fast-paced and supportive, the JET culture is about movement, growth and about celebrating every aspect of our JETers.
