Job description
The ideal candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day management and optimisation of our online sales channels, including a WordPress/WooCommerce website and an established eBay store. The role combines website management, digital marketing, SEO, content creation, product merchandising, and sales analysis.
The role is office based within a thriving Sales Team. The role will require support for existing and established B2B customers., * Maintaining a WordPress/WooCommerce website.
- Uploading, updating and optimising products, categories, pricing and promotional content, and creating website copy, imagery and other digital content.
- Monitoring website performance and identifying opportunities to improve conversion rates and user experience.
- Managing Google Ads campaigns, including optimisation of spend, performance monitoring, keyword development and reporting.
- Developing the company’s eBay store, ensuring product listings, pricing and promotions are optimised for sales growth.
- Working with an external SEO agency to develop and implement SEO strategies that improve organic visibility and website traffic.
- Analysing competitor activity, market trends and industry best practices.
- Using Google Analytics, WooCommerce reporting and other tools to track website and sales performance.
- Analysing sales, product and customer data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Producing regular performance reports and presenting findings to senior management.
- Supporting the wider B2B Sales Team with customer enquiries via email and telephone, as well as incorporating your skills to assist with sales reporting.
Requirements
- Must have experience in an e-commerce role, either in-house or at a digital agency.
- Experience managing D2C websites.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads campaign management.
- Experience managing online marketplace accounts, ideally eBay.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and experience working with SEO agencies or consultants.
- Experience using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and website performance data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Data Analysis
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Google Merchant Centre and Shopping Ads.
- Strong content creation skills, including product copywriting and digital merchandising.
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) techniques.
- Basic image editing experience using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva or similar.
- Experience using email marketing platforms.
