IT Analyst

We’re seeking an IT Analyst II to support our enterprise data platform, working across data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and business intelligence. This role assists in building and maintaining data pipelines, supporting Data Science initiatives, and delivering reporting solutions, working closely with senior engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. This is a strong opportunity for someone with solid data engineering fundamentals looking to grow within a structured enterprise environment., * Support the design, development, and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines feeding enterprise data platforms

• Assist in building and maintaining data models and datasets in Databricks to support analytics and Data Science workloads
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation across relational databases
• Develop and maintain data processing scripts and automation using Python, and contribute to application-side work using C# as needed
• Support the development and upkeep of Power BI datasets, dataflows, and reports for business stakeholders
• Assist Data Science teams with data preparation, feature engineering support, and productionizing models within existing pipelines
• Work within Azure or AWS cloud environments to support data ingestion, storage, and processing workflows
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into data pipeline or reporting tasks
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot data quality issues, and escalate complex architecture or infrastructure problems to senior engineers

Required:

• High school diploma or GED and a minimum of twelve (12) years’ IT experience, OR
• Associate’s degree and a minimum of eight (8) years’ IT experience, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field and a minimum of five (5) years’ IT experience
• Working experience with enterprise data platforms, data engineering practices, and cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
• Hands-on experience with SQL for querying and data validation
• Programming experience in Python; familiarity with C# a plus
• Exposure to Databricks or similar big data processing platforms
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar business intelligence/reporting tools
• Basic understanding of Data Science or Machine Learning workflows (e.g., supporting model data prep or feature engineering)
• Experience in the energy industry (oil & gas, utilities, or related sectors)
• Exposure to streaming or real-time data platforms (Kafka, Event Hub, Kinesis)
• Relevant certifications (Azure Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Certified, AWS Data Analytics)
