Job description

Maintain and support the hosting/server environment for a WordPress/WooCommerce e-commerce platform.

Manage PHP versions, MySQL/MariaDB, web server configuration, caching and performance tuning.

Support SSL certificates, DNS, redirects, domain configuration and hosting-level issues.

Monitor uptime, logs, server health, disk space, errors and performance bottlenecks.

Maintain backup processes, restore plans and disaster recovery readiness.

Apply server, OS, package, WordPress, plugin and security updates safely.

Support deployments, release checks and rollback planning.

Investigate and resolve checkout, order-flow and sales-impacting platform issues.

Assist with WooCommerce, WordPress and custom PHP issues where they affect reliability or business operations.

Respond to incidents and help restore services quickly when problems occur.

Requirements

Do you have experience in WordPress?, Strong experience in server/infrastructure support for production web platforms.

Good understanding of Linux hosting environments.

Experience with PHP-based web applications.

MySQL or MariaDB administration and troubleshooting.

Web server experience, for example Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed or similar.

DNS, SSL, caching, redirects and domain configuration knowledge.

Experience with monitoring, logs, backups and incident investigation.

WordPress and WooCommerce experience, especially from a support/performance perspective.

Ability to diagnose issues independently and make safe, risk-aware changes.

Comfortable documenting changes, fixes and recovery steps.

Custom PHP or WordPress plugin experience.

WooCommerce checkout/order-flow troubleshooting.

Cron jobs, queues, API integrations and automation experience.

Redis, object caching, CDN or page-cache experience.

Git-based deployment workflows.

Security hardening experience.

Experience supporting revenue-generating e-commerce platforms.
