Job description

SMX is hiring Palantir Engineers to build the agile data layer for Army financial management. You will design, configure, and sustain data pipelines and applications within Palantir Foundry (or a comparable LCNC platform) to replace legacy GFEBS BW tools. You will construct governed data integrations that maintain GFEBS ECC as the system of record while providing users with intuitive, automated workflows for financial execution

  • Configure governed data ingestion from SAP systems (GFEBS, GCSS-Army) and approved non-SAP sources (MILPERS, DCPS) while preserving source lineage and timestamps.
  • Implement configurable business rules, transformation logic, and role-based exception dashboards.
  • Develop controlled export-to-SAP interfaces to post or retract results (e.g., FB50 reclassifications) back into GFEBS ECC.
  • Assume progressive responsibility for Level 1 user intake, recurring run support, and issue resolution during the sustainment handoff period.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher).
  • Direct experience developing data pipelines and ontologies in Palantir Foundry or Palantir Vantage.
  • 5+ years of enterprise application development or integration development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, web services, and enterprise integration technologies
  • Experience integrating modern web backends with legacy ERPs via APIs or custom RFC programs
