Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Your expertise will drive continuous integration and deployment processes, optimize system performance, and support software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities.   • Manage containerization platforms including Docker and Kubernetes to orchestrate microservices architectures.
  • Configure and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform utilizing Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or PowerShell for infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Monitor system performance with tools like New Relic, Splunk, or Elasticsearch; troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with development teams during requirements gathering to design scalable solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Implement disaster recovery plans and strategies to ensure high availability and data integrity across distributed systems.
  • Maintain version control repositories such as GitHub or GitLab; enforce best practices in code management and review processes.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, or VMware virtualization environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Groovy, Perl, Python, Ruby, Go, or C#.
  • Strong knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet; familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, Google Cloud Platform; understanding of SaaS models.
  • Expertise in managing databases including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle; knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with web servers like NGINX or WebSphere; experience with web services (RESTful APIs) and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, firewalls, VPNs (WAN/LAN), TCP socket programming.
  • Knowledge of incident management procedures and disaster recovery planning; ability to troubleshoot complex software issues efficiently.
  • Experience working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum; excellent collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
