Job description
You will work closely with experienced team members to support clinical systems that enable the successful delivery of clinical trials. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of clinical trial systems, including Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
- Supporting stakeholders and end users with system-related queries, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex problems where appropriate.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand study requirements and support system setup activities.
- Assisting with system upgrades, enhancements, user acceptance testing, and documentation activities.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of system processes, standards, and best practices.
- Monitoring system performance and helping ensure clinical data is managed efficiently and accurately.
- Participating in training and development opportunities to build technical and clinical systems expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in clinical research, technology, healthcare systems, or pharmaceutical development.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and develop expertise in clinical trial systems.
