Job description
They need an experienced DevOps Engineer to run, support and improve the AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure behind those platforms. This is a hands-on role. The work is mostly reliability, automation, CI/CD and making the platform easier to see into and run. You will work closely with the DevOps, DNS engineering and software development teams.
It suits someone who takes ownership and can work on their own. You should be comfortable questioning things that don’t look right, and you should understand that on critical services, stability matters as much as delivery speed.

- Supporting and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployments
- Keeping the platform reliable, available and performing well
- Improving monitoring, alerting, logging and dashboards, and finding the gaps in what the team can currently see
- Using incident and operational data to improve reliability and performance
- Automating infrastructure and operational tasks
- Supporting incident response, troubleshooting and service recovery
- Keeping documentation, runbooks and procedures accurate and up to date
- Working with the on-premises infrastructure teams to coordinate connectivity, dependencies and changes
- Helping to manage the backlog and prioritise technical work
