Job description
- Support and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure and network environment.

Synology DSM platforms
- Technical documentation via Confluence
- Provide Microsoft 365 support and maintain Windows operating systems.
- Manage network devices, including switches, firewalls, printer servers, laptops and desktops.
- Assist with software installations, upgrades and maintenance.
- Provide IT support to both office-based and remote users.
- Work closely with headquarters and international branch offices through Microsoft Teams.
- Support database management activities and generate system reports and enquiries.
- Contribute to IT security best practices and the prevention of cyber security threats.
Requirements
- Experience supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure and business systems.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki Cloud, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
- Understanding of Internet Information Services (IIS).
- Working knowledge of Terminal CLI and SSH.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Passion for technology, continuous improvement and cyber security.
Desirable Qualification & Skills

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, or equivalent networking qualification (essential)

A-Level (or equivalent) qualification in IT or a related subject, together with
-
Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C/Level 4-9 or equivalent), including English and Maths.
- Experience with Fortinet FortiOS and supporting label printers and ZPL environments.
- Knowledge of Certero or Axonius.
- Understanding of reporting and analytics tools such as Metabase.
Desirable
- HNC/HND in IT, Networking or a related discipline.
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

Interesting to know:
You are entitled to 20days’ paid holiday. Due to operational needs 17 days, must be taken during the company shutdown periods. You are also entitled to the usual public holidays in England and Wales or days in lieu where we require employees to work on a public holiday. Holiday increases with service and you will also work
Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 17:15 and Friday 08:00 to 16:15 (& enjoy 18-21 Non working Fridays)
Pay: £27,500.00-£29,000.00 per year
