Job description
Torch Technologies is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Security Administrator to join our security team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Information Security principles as they relate to Special Access Programs (SAPs) and have a demonstrated ability to operate in a dynamic and high-security environment.
Some of the primary responsibilities will include:
- Interface with senior leadership and government officials from multiple agencies daily.
- Review and process PSQs and PARs.
- Assist in executing security policies and procedures under the direction of the PSO.
- Present indoctrination, debrief, and refresher training for program-briefed personnel regarding obligations to protect classified information.
- Assist with coordinating visits and meetings on behalf of the government leadership.
- Address security concerns, incident reporting, and investigations in a discrete and professional manner.
- Periodically travel for training events, conferences, seminars, and assist in on-site assessment activities under government oversight.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelorâs Degree or equivalent experience; additional courses in government security preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in a DoW, DoE or other security program and in-depth knowledge of the DoW, DoE or other government security regulatory manual.
- Relevant experience can be a substitute in lieu of the degree.
- Must have strong and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, and be willing to actively communicate within a mixed environment of co-workers, government leadership, and multi-agency clients.
- Active Top Secret clearance, with SAP eligibility.
Preferred Skills:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Special Access Program (SAP) requirements, preferably as a CSSO/ACSSO.
- Experience with security clearance databases, such as DISS, JADE, and SIMS.
- SAP training certifications through CDSE or another provider.
