Software Engineer - AI Adoption (all levels) - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

Our engineers are hands-on. You take on challenging operational problems, work directly with stakeholders, drill into what is actually going on, and ship. You take AI-first applications through to production, including evaluation and test cases as a normal part of building agents. You will collaborate with stakeholders and team members, using your technical expertise and your understanding of user and business needs. What You’ll Do

• Work with business stakeholders to understand operational problems and turn them into working software
• Build, ship, and operate agents and AI-first applications with deep AI integration
• Write evaluations and test cases for agents as part of shipping
• Build and run applications and agents that are secure and compliant at enterprise scale
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders; take work through to a working outcome
• Improve and extend existing AI-first applications as business needs change
• Be flexible, responsive, and adaptive to changing requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work with the business, drill into complex problems, and drive them to a solution
• Hands-on experience building agents: you have set up agents and shipped agentic software, not only used AI as a consumer
• Experience building and refining software products at enterprise scale, including their design and operation
• Hands-on software development experience using TypeScript, including React frontends, or Python
• Understanding of how to build secure applications and secure agents
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience with Redis and ClickHouse is a plus
• Full professional proficiency in English; German is a plus
• Exposure to Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus
