Job description

The DAS Technician is a hands-on role that will work closely with the Project Manager and other Installation Technicians. The duties will include, but not limited to:

Commissioning DAS equipment. To include but not limited to Outdoor and Indoor antennas, coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, CAT 5 cable, DC Power Cable and other appropriate components to NEC, NFPA 72 and 1221 standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to install, fiber optical cables; with a strong understanding of DAS and related services.
  • Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts & roof tops utilizing proper fall protection.
  • Knowledge of the terminology used in the in-building Distributed Antennae System (DAS) Industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of contract scope and requirements for pro-active management of projects; and integration processes
  • Finger & wrist dexterity & hand/eye coordination., * High School diploma, or an GED, Technical Certificate, Associates, or an Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Advance experience with DAS installations required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
