Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Power Systems Design & Energy Integration Specialist to lead innovative projects that advance energy systems and power infrastructure. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical and mechanical system design, energy integration, and power electronics to develop efficient, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions. Your work will involve collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to optimize power system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement cutting-edge technologies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of energy systems with a focus on system design, automation, and integration., * Design and develop power systems and energy integration solutions using industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.

  • Conduct detailed root cause analysis on system failures or inefficiencies to identify corrective actions and improve reliability.
  • Create schematics, circuit diagrams, and system layouts for electrical and mechanical components ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
  • Utilize simulation tools like Simulink, MATLAB, and Python to model system behavior, optimize performance, and validate designs before implementation.
  • Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ARM microcontrollers, firmware, and signal processing modules to automate energy systems.
  • Perform debugging, soldering, signal analysis, and firmware updates on electronic components within power modules or control units.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical engineering principles with mechanical knowledge for comprehensive system design.
  • Apply CAD software such as CAD or Schematics to produce detailed technical drawings for manufacturing or construction purposes.
  • Support surface mount technology (SMT) assembly processes by providing technical guidance on PCB design and component placement.
  • Conduct testing of electrical systems using tools like C++ programming environments or Perl scripts for automation tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Proven experience in electrical system design, power electronics, or energy integration projects.
  • Strong proficiency with design software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and CAD tools for schematics creation.
  • Hands-on experience with simulation platforms such as MATLAB/Simulink and programming languages like Python or C++.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ARM microcontrollers, firmware development, debugging techniques, soldering skills, and surface mount technology (SMT).
  • Familiarity with signal processing techniques and troubleshooting root cause analysis in complex electrical systems.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to system assembly or integration is highly desirable.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately while adhering to safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively across teams.
