Job description
As a Precision Farming Specialist, you will provide expert technical support to both the dealership and its customers, acting as a subject matter expert in precision farming and agricultural technology solutions.
If you have a genuine passion for tractors, agricultural machinery and the latest farming technology, this could be the ideal opportunity for you., * Provide specialist technical support and advice on precision farming technologies and agricultural machinery.
- Support customers with the installation, set-up, operation and optimisation of precision farming products and services.
- Carry out product technical set-ups and ensure machinery is configured correctly.
- Perform software updates and system upgrades on agricultural machinery.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools, including EST, and associated applications to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Provide excellent customer service, including professional product demonstrations and customer handovers.
- Work closely with the wider dealership team to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in precision farming technology and agricultural machinery.
Requirements
- Strong practical knowledge and experience working with tractors, combines and self-propelled agricultural machinery.
- Previous experience with GPS auto-guidance, ISOBUS control systems and telematics.
- Strong product technical set-up and configuration skills.
- Experience using advanced diagnostic tools, including EST, and relevant technical applications.
- Ability to carry out software updates on agricultural machinery.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, particularly when carrying out customer handovers and training.
- Ability to optimise and maximise the performance of precision farming products and services.
- A strong team player who is equally comfortable working independently and using their own initiative.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate administration skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to respond to customer and business requirements.
- Full UK driving licence.
