IT Field Engineer/moderator

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Field Engineer/Moderator to join our team and drive the seamless operation of technical systems across various locations. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of computer hardware, networking equipment, and electronic devices. • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
• Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to repair or replace faulty components on-site.
• Assist with network setup, testing, and troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues promptly.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations clearly and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with team members to escalate complex problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

• Proven experience with computer hardware repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and electronic components.
• Knowledge of computer networking principles including routers, switches, and cabling.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in equipment repair.
• Prior experience working in field service or technical support roles is preferred.
