Job description

  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting for a large IT organization.
  • Analyze technology spend, financial trends, variances, and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Support technology cost transparency, including cost allocations, chargebacks, unit rates, and cost modeling.
  • Develop financial models and reporting that support technology investment and business decisions.
  • Partner with IT leaders, Accounting, and corporate Finance to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting.
  • Present financial trends, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Help establish financial controls, processes, and best practices across the IT organization., * Please describe your Accounting/Finance experience within a large enterprise organization. What were you personally responsible for related to financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, financial controls, and the approximate size of the budget or spend you supported?
  • Please describe your experience supporting an IT/Technology organization financially. What experience do you have with technology spend, cost allocations/chargebacks, cost transparency, TBM, or similar IT cost-management practices?

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • 8+ years of progressive Accounting/Finance experience, including a strong accounting foundation within a large, complex organization.
  • Experience supporting IT/technology financials, including significant technology budgets or spend.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with technology cost allocation, chargebacks, cost transparency, or similar IT cost-management practices.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technology Business Management (TBM) experience.
  • Oracle and/or Power BI experience.
  • CPA and/or public accounting experience.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
