Network Architect - Florida DBPR

DBPR is seeking a senior Network Architect to design, implement, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot its enterprise network infrastructure. The consultant must work onsite and may occasionally need to support after-hours, weekend, or holiday activities.

Candidates must have more than five years of experience in enterprise IT support and each of the following areas:

· LAN, WLAN, and WAN design, implementation, and support

· Cisco and Juniper network switches

· Kemp and F5 load balancers

· Storage Area Network design and maintenance

· Palo Alto next-generation firewalls

· ACLs, firewall policies, and proxy policies

· Cisco IronPort or comparable mail-gateway management

· PRI and SIP trunks

· Cloud networking and hybrid connectivity

· Cisco Unified Communications:

o Cisco UCM

o UCCX

o Unity Connection

· Disaster recovery, high availability, and network resiliency

· Network monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, performance optimization, incident response, and security

Preferred Experience

· Previous State of Florida technical staff-augmentation experience

· Unified Communications environment support

· Application design or scripting familiarity

· Mentoring and knowledge transfer
