  • Collaborate with analysts and developers to define data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Support AI/ML initiatives by preparing and structuring datasets for downstream model development.
  • Contribute to documentation of data architecture, workflows, and security compliance practices.
  • Troubleshoot performance and data issues and implement corrective solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience building and supporting data pipelines in enterprise environments.
  • Strong SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases.
  • Experience developing ETL/ELT processes and working with structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience with Python or similar scripting language.
  • Experience working in secure Federal or DoD environments.

Preferred

  • Experience with cloud data services (AWS Redshift, RDS, EMR, Azure Data Services, etc.).
  • Experience supporting AI/ML data preparation workflows.
  • Familiarity with distributed processing frameworks (Spark, Kafka, etc.).
  • Experience supporting DLA or logistics modernization programs.

Clearance and Eligibility

  • Must be eligible to work in a DoD secure environment.

*Secret Clearance
