Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our small, senior engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining Bronson, our data and intelligence platform for mass-tort litigation. This platform supports critical casework functions such as case management, document handling, medical records processing, and portfolio valuation. You will work closely with a leading plaintiffs’ law firm to build against real production workflows, ensuring our systems are validated on live data while adhering to HIPAA-aligned security and privacy standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful legal technology solutions that handle sensitive protected health information (PHI) in a secure and compliant environment., * Develop, enhance, and maintain the Bronson platform’s full stack components, ensuring robust performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with the product team to translate complex workflows into efficient technical solutions aligned with real-world legal case management needs.
• Build features that support document management, medical records processing, and portfolio valuation within the platform.
• Work with production data under controlled access, validating system functionality using live data while maintaining strict security protocols.
• Implement HIPAA-aligned security measures to protect sensitive PHI throughout all development phases.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for system optimization and automation.
• Engage in cross-functional communication with legal professionals and stakeholders to understand evolving requirements.

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in both front-end and back-end development.
• Strong proficiency in modern web technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular for front-end development; Node.js, Python, or similar for back-end services.
• Experience working with complex workflows and integrating systems within production environments.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and experience handling protected health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Familiarity with cloud services, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and API design.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team of senior engineers, demonstrating leadership and collaborative skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an emphasis on building reliable, scalable solutions for sensitive data processing.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly across teams.
