SAP Payroll Administrator

• Proven implementation and testing experience
• Ability to operate independently in a live project environment

Our client i seeking a SAP Payroll Officer who will support their live payroll system implementation within the City of London and they require candidates who can contribute immediately in a project environment. Due to the stage of the project, there is no capacity to upskill, so candidates must already meet the core technical requirements.

Essential skills and experience

• Proven hands-on SAP payroll experience (this is a strict minimum requirement)
• Ability to work directly within SAP, not just indirect exposure
• Experience supporting payroll system implementations, upgrades or migrations
• Strong involvement in:
• UAT testing
• Parallel runs
• Data validation and reconciliations
• Defect tracking and resolution
• Confident working across HR, Finance, IT and third-party vendors
• Able to add value from day one in a project-focused role (not a BAU payroll position)

Desirable

• Experience in public sector environments
• Exposure to multiple payroll systems alongside SAP
• Broader project experience across HR/payroll transformations

Additional Information.

• This is not a standard payroll administration role. Candidates must have strong project and systems exposure, not just payroll processing.
• Candidates with only iTrent or non-SAP payroll experience will not be considered.
