Information Management and Intelligence Lead

• Define and own the R&D Information & Knowledge Strategy and roadmap, aligned with digital transformation and AI priorities
• Partner with Digital and Data Leads and senior R&D leaders to align knowledge products with strategic priorities. Translate complex scientific knowledge needs and prioritized use cases into technical solutions and communicate roadmap and value to leadership
• Own end-to-end information pipelines - from unstructured data ingestion (publications, lab notebooks, regulatory submissions) to exploitable context layer and knowledgebases powered by NLP, LLMs and Agentic AI workflows
• Procure and deliver scientific information services, competitive intelligence tools and literature mining platforms, including vendor management
• Set governance standards for information quality, lineage and lifecycle across CP R&D, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, IP and data security
• Lead cross-functional matrix teams in Agile delivery of knowledge mining use cases, championing a data-centric culture

Do you have experience in Natural language processing?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Proven leadership of information, knowledge management or R&D intelligence programs in science-driven organisations (life-sciences or chemical industry) - backgrounds in data science, scientific content services, informatics or publishing are all relevant

• Demonstrated hands-on expertise with NLP, text mining and Agentic AI-powered knowledge extraction and mining of scientific, technical or regulatory content
• Strong understanding of data engineering platforms (e.g. Databricks, AWS, data lakehouse architectures)
• Excellent stakeholder management and matrix leadership skills across scientific, technical and senior audiences
• Master’s degree in STEM, Data Science, Information Science or related discipline, * Expertise in knowledge graphs, ontologies, semantic search and vector databases
• Experience with scientific informatics platforms, tools and workflows
• PhD degree in a relevant STEM or Informatics field
