Working Student Software Developer

• Help develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot, as well as frontend components with Angular/TypeScript
• Support the design and implementation of REST/RESTful APIs, including OpenAPI documentation
• Write and maintain unit tests (JUnit 5) and contribute to code quality assurance with SonarQube
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) as well as containerization and operations with Docker and Kubernetes
• Support monitoring and performance analysis of our services (Dynatrace, Grafana)
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum), including pair programming and team collaboration

Need to know

• Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university - or (for an internship) a gap year.
• We can only consider your application if you provide the following documents:

• Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens). Please check before applying if you can work with your current VISA.

• You can start immediately and are interested in a working student position - part time (16-20 h/week)
• Initial knowledge of Java/Spring Boot or JavaScript/TypeScript/Angular, plus basic HTML/CSS skills. Interest in testing, REST APIs, and agile ways of working (Scrum).
• Interest in AI and its application in modern software development. Basic understanding of Git and modern development tools is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of English and German.
• Studies: at least in your 5th Bachelor semester or enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and enjoyment of collaborating in a diverse, international team.
• Curiosity about new technologies and an agile mindset.
