Job description

Working closely with our Azure Data Engineer, Power Platform specialists and business stakeholders, you will:

  • Design and develop robust data models, semantic models, datasets, dashboards and analytics products.
  • Build and enhance solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines and notebooks.
  • Create engaging and insightful Power BI dashboards that support operational and strategic decision making.
  • Help develop and mature EWR’s enterprise data lake, ensuring data is governed, accessible and AI-ready.
  • Support the development of Fabric Data Agents, Microsoft Foundry solutions and AI-enabled analytics products.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to translate business challenges into practical data solutions.
  • Contribute to data governance, security, documentation and continuous improvement across our analytics estate., This is much more than a reporting role. You’ll be helping shape the future of EWR’s data and AI capability, working with modern Microsoft technologies in a collaborative, ambitious and forward-thinking environment. Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric including lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines, notebooks and semantic models.
  • Advanced Power BI skills, including dashboard development, data modelling, DAX measures and reporting best practices.
  • Strong data modelling and data engineering experience, including SQL, data ingestion, transformation and pipeline development.
  • Experience working with modern data platforms and collaborating with data engineering teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to turn complex requirements into meaningful insights.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, permissions, lineage and enterprise reporting standards.

Ideally, you’ll also have exposure to:

  • Microsoft Foundry
  • Fabric Data Agents and AI-enabled analytics
  • Service Principals and Azure App registrations
  • API integrations and token-based authentication
  • Agile delivery environments.
