Job description

We are recruiting for a senior engineer to develop rugged embedded computing hardware used in defense, aerospace, and other demanding environments. You’ll own complex designs from architecture through board bring-up, validation, and production release. Relocation assistance is available, and travel is minimal. What you’ll do:

  • Design single-board computers, FPGA and DSP carrier boards, sensor processing modules, and I/O products.
  • Develop digital hardware using Intel or ARM processors, DDR4/DDR5 memory, FPGAs, MPSoCs, and RFSoCs.
  • Design and troubleshoot high-speed interfaces, including PCIe and multi-Gigabit Ethernet.
  • Work with FPGA, software, systems, and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and prepare products for release.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • At least seven years of relevant electrical engineering or embedded hardware design experience.
  • Hands-on experience with schematic capture, circuit board design, hardware bring-up, validation, and debugging.
  • Experience designing with Intel or ARM processors, advanced programmable devices, and high-speed interfaces.
  • Skill using oscilloscopes and other electronic test equipment, plus a track record of leading complex technical work.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship.

Experience with signal integrity, ruggedized electronics, Mentor Expedition Dx, Embedded Linux, or C/C++ is a plus.
